Bargain of the year returns in 2011

Last year was so successful with our field day food plan we are repeating it for 2011. As a way of saying 'thank you' for your hard work and support, not only at Field Day but throughout the year, HCRA will be offering Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch free of charge to members and one guest!

Your club has put forward a significant amount towards the meals and it is our hope that through donations and the Field Day raffle we will make up the rest. Please donate whenever possible and try not to waste food or drink so there is enough for everyone.

Salad and Dessert Donations Wanted!

Want to contribute to the Field Day fun? We're looking for salads, veggie platters, cheeses, desserts, cookies, donuts, etc. for the entire weekend. We're hoping to keep the coffee corner stocked day and night to keep everyone up and running. If you would like to help please respond to the HCRA mailing list or facebook page with what you are bringing. By letting everyone know we will be able to coordinate, but not duplicate.

FD 2011 Menu

Friday - June 24th

No scheduled meals but we will take a collection and order out for pizza in the evening.

Saturday - June 25th

Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, home fries & sasuage
Lunch - Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato & macaroni salad and baked beans
Dinner- Grilled chicken, tuna salad, vegetables and dessert

Sunday - June 26th

Breakfast- Pancakes and Sausage
Lunch- Meatball Grinders, Chips and leftovers

Both Days

Drinks-Assorted Soda, Coffee (24hrs.), Milk, Water, Lemonade, Ice Tea

You can make it even better!
Why not bring along your favorite salad, side dish or dessert and share with the crew. There's nothing like some home-made goodies to really round out (get it - round out) the menu. Like everything else HCRA we all benefit when we contribute!

Your cook and food procurement person is Jim/NN1Y, assisted this year by Dave/KB1VPM. If you would like to give them a hand with preparation, serving or clean-up I'm sure it would appreciate it. Big jobs are always more fun with help!
